Yoga my greatest tool for progression

Morning yoga it's a great tool for a successful day. The feeling of lightness and relaxed head is a game changer for active people ✨

Yoga is my favorite exercise to do "at home".

I used to come back from intense kiteboarding trips, completely exhausted and sore. Right now I get sore shoulders and back from lifting my sweet baby girl all day long 👶💪. It is said to do at least 10 minutes of yoga a day to feel better and have a better range of motion. I feel like even one yoga pose a day is doing wonderful work!

Yoga is a more intricate practice than one might realize. There are 8 limbs of yoga that a true yogi follows. Tailoring my routine for kiteboarding, I focus on three limbs: asanas (poses), pranayama(breathing), and Dharana(concentration). These elements play a crucial role in complex athletic training. Yoga asanas incorporate the entire body from the soles of your heels to the top of your head. This total body engagement in yogic postures gives amazing results from flexibility, mobility, stronger blancing, body awareness and what's more important strength in the deepest muscles and ligaments. Beyond the physical, yoga emphasizes breath, concentration, relaxation, and meditation, key components for progression in various aspects of life.

Imagine how you speak without regular breath, imagine how you chop bread without concentration, imagine your day without an evening relaxation... These components are essential for everyday progress, and notably for Kiteboarding!

On all our pro camps we practice yoga in the morning to prepare the body for the intensive day of kiteboarding. For me, yoga was a game changer when I first started incorporating it into my daily training. Until now regular yoga practice has helped me achieve my sports goals, everyday wellbeing, and peace of mind.

Morning yoga it's a great tool for a successful day.
