ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Kite & Yoga retrete program will give you many benefits as a kiteboarder. It is a perfect asset for a kiteboarding trip, kiteboarding session but also during your preparation phase. No matter where you are in the world you can practice this yoga program that is precisely designed for kiteboarders.

YOGA FOR THE KITEBOARDERS

This program is great for a beginner, intermediate and advanced kiteboarder. Anyone who is currently kiteboarding or learning to kiteboard can gain many benefits from Kite & Yoga retrete program. If you are a beginner rider you might experience sore muscles, you never knew they existed. 


As a more experience rider you will feel stiffness and pains in your muscles. You might have problems reaching to grab your board or spin extra rotation because you lack that range of movement or body awareness.




WHAT'S INCLUDED

Day 1 SHOULDER RELEASE (15min) Gentle session to open up your shoulders. Practic this session regularly to bring mobility and bigger range of motion in your shoulders. 


Day 2 BACK & NECK TENSION (20 min) Release the tension in your back and neck with this session. This area can get really sore after trying new tricks, long travel or working at the computer.


Day 3 SLOW MORNING (20min) Are you feeling stiff and tired in the morning? This session will released your sore muscles and give you more movement for the upcoming day!
 

Day 4 FULL BODY FLEXIBILITY (20min) Feel more control in your body, your movements, and your breath. Flexibility and body awareness, can help you with trick progression and consistent riding every day.


Day 5 LEG FLEXIBILITY (20min) Release back of your hamstring, glutes and calfs which will help with higher jumps and controlled landings.

Pranayama (10min) is a breathing exercise that will teach you a deeper and more controlled breathing. Being awer on your breath will make your body and mind more alert, energised and ready for the action.


Trick Visualization (10min) It's a short voice recording where I will guide you through the trick visualization. To achieve this, we want to be harmonious and restful to feel, see, and hear what we want to visualize.

HOW TO PRACTICE

The videos last 15-20 min and will give you a feeling of lightness, flexibility and focus. Practice one of the videos when you are on a kiteboarding trip or when kiteboarding at home! Use a sticky mat for better grip and elastic clothing for ease of movement.

Include yoga into your training routine and you will feel better, jump higher and enhance your performance sometimes even from day one!
